how do i use my 3g iphone as a mobile broadband device?

anyone got any ideas?

I know some of the hacked firmware's allow you to use the iphone as an ad-hoc wi-fi network. so it's definitely do able, but that's about as much as i know.

also i think you'd want to keep bandwidth usage low, if you started torrenting movies o2 might get a bit miffed.
