what is really nice about fffound apart from the amazing selection of images and supasimple interface is its one click publishing app. it's a real bonus and i think, one of the main reasons for the sites success. i've been looking into something similar for the OS, so hold tight.
huge fan of this one of the best new things about, social nets are good and all but my favourite web time is the obscure stumbles and tangents and the totally random but inspiring stuff this flips up. how about a protein deilicous (or other) account which the community bookmarks things into and via an API tweak it gets skinned into protein, tho that sounds dangerously like a ffffound rip off...
that would be incredible, still thinking netvibes is one of the most useful things of recent web. got fully inducted into GTD this summer and now thats driving a lot of my web time so a protein RSS would be the perfect marriage
I only got 1 invite and gave it to my friend right away. Haven't had a new invite. Ever. It seems to be rare for people to get invites. Most accounts come with 1 invite, and some come with 3.
sorry for dropping the thread have been away drumming up business. gtd was a relevation to me, currently using a easy set up of delicious/netvibes/remember the milk/gmail to keep me on to of it all. use delicious to tag sites i want to check out reply or do something with these then pop up via rss onto my netvibes alongside the rtm widget and from there get fed in. pretty geeky but has streamlined my web time which equals more time out and about in the real world
